Medicaid EHR Incentive Payment Program

MassHealth has partnered with the Massachusetts eHealth Institute (MeHI), a division of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MTC) to administer key components of the Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Payment Program.

The goal of the Medicaid EHR Incentive Payment Program is to promote the adoption of interoperable electronic health records by providing incentive payments to eligible professionals (EPs) and eligible hospitals (EHs) that adopt, implement, upgrade or demonstrate meaningful use of federally certified EHR technology.

The MeHI Medicaid EHR Incentive Payment Program Operations team assists eligible professionals and eligible hospitals through the registration, attestation and validation process; as well as support the program’s outreach activities by providing workshops, onsite visits, and webinars.
